Dear Mama,
I had another bout with the flu. Last night was painful, Mama. I was crying in pain, I felt cold and it was painful. I didn't know what to do. I did not understand. I did not know if I was crying in pain, or because of nervousness, or because of self-pity. I did not even remember how I fell asleep.
I did not report for work today. I sent a text message to our manager to say I have fever. I feel better now, Mama. I took medicines 'round the clock. So, I'll be able to go back to work tomorrow.
An update on Angel's condition, Mama. Her lab results are all out - ultrasound, blood chemistry, and stool exam, they were all normal. Although she still has to go back to her doctor to bring the lab results for proper reading and diagnosis, Mama. She was prescribed antibiotics before her lab tests. I guess she'll just have to continue them.
I guess that will be my update for now. I wish I can hug you right now. I surely need it.
